If you want the history and culture of Morocco, is an ideal place to go! Try to Marrakech, Fes, Tangier ....... Marrakech is my personal favorite. Agadir is nice, but I thought it would be more European than Moroccan.
With respect to the hotels we stayed at Hotel Kenza, which was nice, just outside the center but still close enough (Marrakech). To be honest, I think you will find most of the hotels are, I've never heard someone had made a bad experience.
Someone mentioned a "harassed" by beggars, people selling things in Egypt, etc ... This also occurs in Morocco. But this is not a problem as you are polite, you can enjoy your vacation. Infact, the locals are very friendly and helpful.
It is also a very safe country, has been cautious and common sense, as if it were a foreign country to visit, especially in an occupied city.
If you want more, send me a message, I often went to Morocco and love!
I added a few links for you, I hope this helps.
One of my friends went to Agadir, and she said it was great. We went to Egypt last year and he was on the beach, all of two minutes to buy something furious. At least that seems to come to Morocco. Go ahead and go www.tripadviser.com is what I have to go too.
It is a woman. I recently went with my friend. It can be dangerous, especially in Casablanca, there are prostitutes in the clubs. And the people are very fat, Casablanca, they are usually reluctant to you. It is a beautiful country, make no mistake, but people stay or go.
Morocco is a wonderful country! Afew basic tips:
You live in a traditional riad, as opposed to a hotel. Amzing place!
Do not go to Agadir, if you love the arts - their goal the beach. Go to Marrakech, Fes, etc.
DO NOT DRINK THE WATER (!) The disease is like no other
If it is history and culture - Morocco is a must!

or in Morocco, a small worm in the summer.

for History and Culture:
Tangier
Rabat
Fez
Meknes
Marrakech
for culture and sites:
Ouarzazate.
Tinghir.
Kala Meggouna.
Essaouira.
Jadida.
Of course, Casablanca, but this city is like European cities.
There are several one-star hotels to five stars. (From 12 pounds).
The people are very friendly and very welcoming.
You will not be disappointed.
I went to my brother at Morocco or 12 years, and we have loved. CAN B Scarey first with OUT HARSMENT but how worth it!
I just back from Marrakesh on Thursday and it was incredible, but also very worrying, because it completely different from England.
Visit the Jemaa el Fna. Looking for a travel Web site, as there are many things to do. I do not recommend the Hotel Kenza, because it has many problems with the rooms.
